As a 68-year-old single-by-choice woman, Iām finally comfortable in my own skin whether at home or in the company (rarely, by design) of others. I wish Iād known this freedom decades ago ā¤ļøš
Yes, just 14 years ago I was trying to protect myself from sounding different than I am. Hiding who I am because others would judge if they knew the truth. The gifts from being single-by-choice are not an easy conquest because we are taught to please others to find our value in life.
We know this now.

I don't think you have to know what to say, only to not hide your eyes. Open them. If someone is attractive. Look at them. Don't look away with discomfort.
